Il Civettaio, in 7.5 hectars of vineyards and 4 of  olive groves, all certified organic and  biodynamic,  produces wines of Maremma,  like Montecucco DOC, Sangiovese, IGT Maremma Toscana, and Maremma extra-virgin olive oils.

Watch the sunset while sipping a glass of wine. Take in the specttacular view, while savoring the traditional dishes of the Tuscan cuisine paired with the wines and olive oils of Maremma. 

We want to make the vacation of our guests as much as possible, care free and enjoyable. So Il Civettaio operates a  little restaurant, il Capriolo, on guests request and reservation.  
 
Il Capriolo features authentic cuisine of the Tuscan Maremma, made with the organic products of Il Civettaio and other genuine local products, and pizza, made with the traditional woodburning oven. Everything is paired with the excellent Civettaio's organic wines.

One may dine  inside the completely renovated  restaurant, ( the old stable) which is furnished with country furniture and family antiques or dine al fresco enjoying the wonderful view of the Maremma countryside.  

Breakfast is served at the restaurant.

During the high season we organize: Dine under the trees with tipical traditional food, Pizza evening where you make and cook,in our old wood oven, your own pizza, Maremma buffet where you can try a dozen of tipical Maremma dishes - from acquacotta to panzanella.

A large menu of take away dishes is always ready; you can cook them in your apartment.

 

Il Civettaio organizes weddings, parties and special events for groups, private and corporate clients. It organizes also cooking  classes and courses and olive oil and wine tastings.
